We have openings for Personal Insurance Advisors to join our Digital Team based out of our Century Point Office in Edmonton.

Position Summary:

We have immediate openings for personal insurance advisors. The objective of the role is to both support existing customers through service and cross-selling, while also selling policies to prospective clients.

9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday for training. 12:00pm-8:00pm with the requirement of working 1 Saturday per month once training is completed.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

  • Servicing existing BrokerLink clients with their requests through both phone and email
  • Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, and issuing insurance certificates
  • Completing new business applications
  • Test new sales strategies, techniques and processes while providing feedback
  • Identify the appropriate selling features in each quote and offer most relevant products
  • Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training initiatives and professional development required of the position
  • Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School and or Post-Secondary Education
  • A valid General Insurance License in the Province of Alberta
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be an asset
  • Experience working with EPIC and Applied Rating Services would be assets
  • Strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer and/or company portal skills
