GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Process Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager, Business and Process Analysis, is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of process improvement programs and initiatives as assigned. Responsibilities include leading and facilitating cross-functional teams to understand and document business processes, identifying areas of improvement. Process change requirements include developing and completing impact assessments, which may include and are not limited to, changes to department or individual roles and responsibilities and technological changes to support the business. The incumbent is responsible for contributing and establishing implementation schedules of process change initiatives and may be required to manage project budgets and direct the work of the project team.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
This position requires an undergraduate degree in Business/Marketing supplemented by a broad range of at least 5 to 7 years of experience related to process improvement, ideally in the telecommunications industry. Certification in any industry recognized process development organization would be a great asset. In addition, excellent analytical (e.g. financial and cost/benefit), research, project management skills, and coaching/facilitation skills are critical to the success of this position. The incumbent must also possess demonstrated skills/knowledge in the areas of continuous process improvement, including benchmarking and process re-engineering tools.
