Position Summary

The Process Excellence Analyst will lead deployment of E2E optimization in the company. As a Process Excellence Analyst, one will create and foster an environment that promotes continuous improvement, increases consistency & transparency, and empower employees to enhance the value of the service we provide to customers. Process Excellence Partner will provide training, development, and coaching to managers and staff, and implement the tools of the E2E management system and ensure leaders are proficient in Lean practices. This position is based out of our office location in St John's, NL.

Who you are

What you'll do in the role

  • Conducts basic diagnostic and design work
  • Collect, analyze data and combine with field observations to build a fact base. Be able to perform analysis with minimal guidance
  • Develop future set of recommendations from a set of findings and data analyses, leading to an end to end new operating model
  • Implement E2E design
  • Create a comprehensive plan which ensures successful implementation of design
  • Syndicate plan with stakeholder’s and immediate partners to gain support and acceptance
  • Ensure completion of work in a timely and effective manner.
  • Review delays and gaps in your work stream and effectively resolve issues. Partner with business leaders and project leader in problem solving
  • Deliver Lean training to production staff and managers on deployment of Lean and process design elements
  • Work with frontline associates and managers in a one-on-one capacity to reinforce skills, and ensure adoption
  • Be an agent of change and continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and thinking creatively to solve problems
  • Over time, learn all elements of the E2E management system and be comfortable in coaching others

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training, plus 5 7 years of related business experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and train (must be able to conduct group and one-on-one training)
  • Ability to influence others and manage difficult situations
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills (i.e., can conduct root cause analysis, make recommendations, and track results)
  • Strong written, oral, communication and presentation skills required (to include comfort working in Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Not mandatory: knowledge of specific business lines, products and functions services
  • Experience within the financial services industry in a process improvement capacity is required for the role; minimum Green Belt or Lean certified
