As a Delivery Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of an engagement throughout its lifecycle – Sales, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure as well as managing operational activities such as resource requests, contracts & time codes, invoicing, internal and client status reporting, and SLA/metrics reporting.

You will ensure that after we have won a deal, the right people are in place to fulfil our promises to the client, even if that means filling in for certain roles yourself. You will also keep stakeholders informed on how the work is going and remove any obstacles should they arise. Once You Are Here, You Will:

  • Work within general policy and management guidance, independently determining the approach to managing daily operations
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to your team, knowing when to become actively involved
  • Mentor and guide team members in career development
  • Challenge the team to develop creative solutions, that deliver cost reduction and improvements in service delivery
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team that supports them in meeting or exceed their assigned goals
  • Develop and manage account staffing models
  • Work closely with sales and account leads in developing and closing business opportunities with current and targeted clients
  • Deliver client and leadership communications and presentations
  • Ensure that the team achieves specific performance, compliance, and client service measures

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years' experience managing projects across the entire Development Life Cycle using waterfall and agile methods
  • 10+ years working in Application Management Services environments
  • 5+ years leadership and people management experience
  • 5+ Years' experience monitoring and controlling multiple projects simultaneously
  • 5+ Years' experience working closely with Business and Technology partners to create end to end project plans including staffing plans, business tasks and deliverables, clear scope definition, and associated assumptions and risks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • A strong combination of creative and analytical skills, with the ability to make challenging decisions in ambiguous situations, at times with less than perfect information
  • Strong negotiation skills when interacting within NTT DATA and with 3rd parties
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality application development and management services on complex accounts
  • Proven ability to motivate, direct and lead in person and remote teams
  • Able to communicate concepts, objectives, rationale, and decisions effectively to a wide range of audiences and experience levels
  • Self-driven; able to understand strategic direction and make progress without direct oversight while keeping stakeholders informed about progress and results
  • Work collaboratively with others in the organization to ensure the highest level of service delivery quality from your team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI PMP Certification
  • Scrum or SAFe Certification
  • Knowledge of key AMS concepts like Release Management, Configuration Management, SLA/SLO measurement and management.
  • Familiarity with service management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
