Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg. We are currently recruiting for a Regional Manager to join our Calgary customer solution centre.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Manager is responsible for all sales and supporting operations in the Calgary area. This role is responsible for all functions of the branch on a day to day basis including coordination and direction of activities within the branch to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure operational effectiveness. The key function of this position is to significantly expand the sales volumes and to support sales staff in obtaining all sales objectives. As a senior leader you will be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team that is committed to identifying, developing and implementing value-added solutions to the organization.

The Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, growing and developing key accounts and reaching/exceeding sales targets. You will work with a tight knit sales team who are influential in the growth and direction of our organization in a highly competitive, fast-paced, continuously changing market. A success driven individual, you have led effective sales teams and are committed to providing a positive customer experience. You bring excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as have a good understanding of the window & door markets in the Alberta region.

In this position you will be responsible to:

  • Manage the branch efficiently and effectively and ensure compliance with all organizational standards of work practice, policies, legal regulations and Health and Safety
  • Work collaboratively with employees to optimize branch operations and resolve issues.
  • Assist the sales team in developing new client relationships and ensure they are working towards achievement of sales targets
  • Lead the development, training and coaching plans for all sales employees with respect to innovative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives, driving common vision and desire for growth
  • Implement Organizational strategies for the branch and participate with the executive team to develop systems and processes that support effective management of branch operations.
  • Develop and increase market share and branch sales and develop sales plans to achieve targets
  • Cultivate and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential customers
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Commerce preferred
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of sales management responsibility with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • 7-10 years of demonstrated success and experience in managing operations. Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered in lieu of a post-secondary education
  • Progressive leadership experience within a sales and/or service based organization along with experience overseeing the substantial change to a business unit channel with a strong understanding of leading successful change management initiatives
  • Exceptional communications, negotiation and interpersonal skills coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and expenditures
  • Experience in window/door manufacturing an asset
