Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and manage existing client relationships.
  • Solicit, strategize and execute client contracts through prospecting telephone calls, pre-planned business appointments, sales blitzes, emails, trade shows, industry events, etc. and follow up on all sales activities
  • Professionally represent True Key Hotels & Resorts at trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
  • Detail oriented with accurate confirmation of all bookings, quotes and negotiated rates while adhering to our rate structure, credit policies and general policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate efforts with True Key Hotels & Resorts where applicable.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with reservations team and resort management teams.
  • Consistent and ongoing maintenance of an up-to-date, accurate client management system.
  • Communicate with guests and groups in house as required to ensure total guest satisfaction and also to enable re-solicitation for future business.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience at each and every contact point.


  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or post-secondary education in sales combined with minimum two years sales experience within a resort environment.
  • Proven sales experience within adventure tourism which includes, golfing, fishing, kayaking, wilderness excursion, culinary retreats, yoga retreats.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective at resolving client concerns.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills in order to meet deadlines.
  • Working with defined sales goals.
  • Ability to bring new ideas and take part in new initiatives.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products primarily; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver’s license and the use of your own vehicle may be required for this role.
