What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, Personal, Commercial, and Caribbean Banking, you will partner with the Persona, Commercial, and Caribbean Banking businesses, including Business and HR executives and leaders, to develop and execute on strategies to build our future-ready workforce, and lead a team of experts in talent sourcing and recruitment to engage and attract talent to RBC.

What will you do?

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborating with HR and business leaders, lead strategic planning to define a Talent Acquisition strategy for Personal, Commercial, and Caribbean Banking.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships/partnerships with executives and leaders across the business to understand talent priorities, critical skills/roles and future hiring plans
  • Evaluate industry and market specific challenges, trends and opportunities to inform talent planning and drive channel strategies to engage and attract top talent to RBC
  • Share labour marketplace trends, competitive intelligence data, and key performance metrics related to the acquisition of talent to help business partners be successful

Talent Acquisition:

  • Responsible for the leadership, design, development and execution of effective, talent acquisition strategies and programs within Personal and Commercial banking portfolios
  • Manage a high performing team of Recruitment Managers and Recruiters across disciplines, programs and geographies, including hiring, resource management, capacity planning, leadership, training, mentorship, performance management, and support for the recruitment organization
  • Ensure delivery of an exceptional candidate experience and actively coach your team to partner with Hiring Managers to create a superb client and candidate experience
  • Develop and drive consistent processes across geographies adapting where appropriate to accommodate local business needs
  • Ensure technology is utilized to track all processes with a goal of producing decision making metrics and a streamlined quality experience for candidates and hiring managers; ensure assessment tools provide the appropriate level of prescreening and selection based capability to ensure the highest quality of hire
  • Adhere to company policy and legislative compliance for all recruitment and selection related processes, including staying on top of legislative changes related to talent acquisition.

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities leading diverse and dynamic teams in a matrixed organization, preferably with experience leading sales, product, and operations talent acquisition at scale across multiple geographies
