Job Description :
• Help determine the technical specifications of high-power motors for projects. • Perform detailed design reviews with manufacturers following the tender process. • Oversee and participate in the drafting of detailed specifications for synchronous and asynchronous motors. • Serve as an expert if client equipment becomes damaged. • Review and update the organization's technical documentation. • Perform witness factory acceptance tests (FATs). • Assist our teams for field testing. • Share your technical knowledge in the high-power motor industry.

• Member of a provincial engineering association or ability to become one • Hold at least 15 years of experience in modelling, design and fabrication of high-power motors • Available for assignments at client offices or sites in Québec and across Canada • Extensive knowledge of variable speed drives • Knowledge of testing methods for rotating machinery • Knowledge of IT simulation tools (MATLAB, EMTP) • Ability to communicate in both English and French • Asset: Hold a graduate degree in electrical engineering or relevant experience in motor design
