Job Description:

More specifically, you’ll participate in developing projects that have a positive effect on the environment. In particular, you’ll be asked to:

  • Provide technical mentoring to our team of engineers and designers.
  • Provide technical support for design and detailed engineering projects.
  • Lead and verify the design of plans and specifications.
  • Supervise and perform design calculations.
  • Verify and produce request for proposal (RFP) files, specifications and other technical documents.
  • Ensure work complies with established schedules, estimates, procedures and budgets.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Perform technical information surveys.
  • Occasionally supervise contractors on site.

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the petrochemical industry
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic mechanical equipment, pressure vessel and piping design
  • Available for occasional travel for a few days to client sites
  • Major asset: Bilingual (English and French)
  • Asset: knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Trace700 and AFT Fathom applications
  • Asset: knowledge of pumps and compressors
