Job Description

Will have total responsibility for all Service Deliveries for our Canadian clients.

Successful execution of projects as per cost and revenues agreed, ability to mine the customer, improvement of profit of ongoing engagements, making our clients referencible, people management etc will all be a part of his KRA 15-25 years of experience of software deliveries in Canada. Delivery in a product organization will be an asset (not mandatory).

BFSI experience a must. GTB - Global transaction banking experience (preferably payments) is preferred.

The role is not a coordinator - so the person should be keen to get down in the trenches and get hands on with delivery matters as necessary while also being able to handle senior management conversations on delivery matters such as status reporting, negotiations. Steering committee meetings etc.

Compensation will have fixed and variable components based on KRAs.

Someone who can not only lead the local efforts but who can also bring their external experience into the senior management team of the global service delivery unit So we need to extend the existing brief to bring particular focus on :

Revenue or P&L experience Multi project line management Management and accountability of whole functional unit, preferably remote from head office Experience of managing delivery teams in an on shore/ off shore model Experience of product delivery to Financial services organisation. It is important that this is a Fin Tech product, not just IT or comms etc. Experience working for a product company is a positive, but the experience mentioned above could have been gained in an SI house. It is not enough just to have worked on the client (bank) side. Strong client communication and management skills is a must, and all the usual proof points of programme success etc are a given.
