We are seeking a candidate to fill a shipper/receiver position on a permanent part-time basis for our Nepean store in Ottawa area. The work schedule varies between 10 to 15 hours a week, and you have to be available all weekdays.

The candidate will be required to perform various tasks according to the store's operational needs, which includes customer service when require.

As a shipper/receiver, you will handle a variety of responsibilities:

• Picking and packing merchandise for shipping;
• Generating shipping labels/Dangerous good labels and other requirements under the Dangerous goods requirements;
• Verifying orders from direct shipments, unpacking and stocking products;
• Processing the warehouse shipments and receiving items into the stores system;
• Taking care of packaging and unwrapping merchandise;
• Restocking store shelves, as required;
• Cleaning and maintaining a clean and tidy backroom at all times;
• Filing shipping and receiving paperwork;
• Verifying and correcting inventory issues in the computer system;
• Disposing of the garbage and cardboard daily;
• Other duties including customer service, answering the phones, assisting with merchandising, and cleaning the store, as necessary.
