L3 Technologies MAS, located in Mirabel (QC), is a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, Inc.

As Specialist, Data Configuration (Methods) you will:

Reporting to the Configuration Management Section Chief, you will be responsible for validating and capturing material requirement related to the maintenance tasks of the Maritime Helicopter Program (MHP). Will be closely working with the Integrated Information Environment (IIE) lead to improve the material management aspect on the program and provide input into forward material planning. You will also be asked to work with the fleet management team to help input the maintenance requirement within the Integrated Information Environment (IIE).

To achieve this, you will be called upon to:

Validate and maintain the material requirement, using the maintenance program;
Create and maintain material requirement within our maintenance record system (CMMS);
Support the day-to-day aircraft disposition in CMMS;
Create and update CMMS for maintenance program update ;
Support improvements on the change process for material management and CMMS.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role should have:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, aerospace or equivalent;
Diploma of Technical College Studies (DEC), preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
Good knowledge of Material management concept and forward planning of material requirement;
Good knowledge of MS Office suite software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
Knowledge and understanding of theories and practices of aircraft engineering methods and maintenance;
Good organizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during the analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information;
Ability to speak, read and write in English and French.

Operational requirements :

Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
Location not accessible via public transportation, car required. Can work remotely from home in this position.
