An overview of your future role at BBA

• Participate in business development, more specifically for wind projects
  
• Help prepare plans, design specifications and reports
  
• Design concrete and steel buildings and structures
  
• Design wind turbine foundations
  
• Perform other technical functions to support project delivery
  
• Assist with site inspections and surveys
  
• Help plan, organize and assess work
  
• Help prepare estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, budgets, specifications and reports
  
• When required, participate in monitoring and commissioning technological solutions
  
• Ensure quality control of the work of engineers and drafters
  
• Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives
  
• Coordinate the work of contractors on site and monitor work

Overview of certifications and job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Design
  
• At least five years of experience in wind turbine foundation design
  
• Available to travel to client sites and offices (20% to 40% of the time annually)
  
• Proficient in project management
  
• Advanced knowledge in reading drawings
  
• Intermediate knowledge of workplace safety (workers’ compensation) and field monitoring
  
• Intermediate knowledge of quality system procedures and instructions
  
• Proficient in technical writing
  
• Proficient with the Code of Ethics for Engineers
  
• Bilingual (English and French)
  
• Asset: knowledge of SAFI and S-FRAME software
