Specific Job Description

As an integral part of the Subcontract Management Team, the Subcontract Administrator: Drafts subcontract terms and conditions: drafts Teaming Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding and Proprietary Information Agreements and processes the agreements for approval; prepares Requests for Proposals; conducts competitions; evaluates proposals; and supports source selections. The Subcontract Administrator leads negotiations with Subcontractors and manages the subcontracts documents, including drafting correspondence, tracking deliverables, processing invoices and maintaining the contractual record.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Bachelor s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration
8-10 years of Subcontract Administration and/or procurement experience in the defence sector
Strong negotiations skills
Familiarity with Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) procurement regulations and terms and conditions Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and oral communication skills
