Building a community of hope since 1987, we would like to invite you to join our journey. Siloam Mission is currently seeking a Full-time/Permanent, Supportive Recovery Housing Manager. Managing the soon to open Support Recovery Housing Program, this position in main responsible in program management and implementation of providing transitional housing for individuals who have completed an initial treatment program but require structured support before transitioning into the community.


As part of Siloam Mission’s mandate to be a connecting point between the compassionate and less fortunate, the incumbent is expected to facilitate volunteers in the performance of its duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides direct support, consultation, training, and supervision of support staffs;
  • Represents the Support Recovery Housing Program in Programs & Services departmental meetings;
  • Develop and foster partnership with community partners to create service integrations and streamline referrals for service users;
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts in improving clients’ experience in accessing Siloam Mission services;
  • Ensures the effective management of administrative functions including keeping complete accurate records;
  • Other tasks assigned by Programs & Volunteer Services Director


Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational background in Health or Human services or combination of experience;
  • Minimum 3 years experience counselling in social service work;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in leading a team;
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge in Mental Health and Addictions Field;
  • Strong understanding of the unique issues and barriers affecting those experiencing poverty and homelessness;
  • Extensive experience in managing high performance teams;
  • Ability to build positive relationships with community partners in all levels of government and non-government sectors;
  • Understanding and experience with program research and development;
  • Experience in providing case management, assessment, treatment plan, life skills;
  • Ability to work within a harm-reduction framework;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications (HIFIS is an asset);
  • Experience in Non-Profit Sector is an asset
