We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your role will be :

  • Build long-lasting and trusting relationships with various parties (managers, candidates, senior management, etc.).
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle - Identify current and future needs, write and publish job descriptions and internal/external postings, analyze and sort applications and communicate with candidates, conduct interviews and/or us virtual recruitment tools, administer and analyze psychometric testing, coordinate reference checks/background checks and the drafting and mailing of hiring documents, and coordinate the arrival of the new employee.
  • Coach and advise managers on talent acquisition.
  • Identify and implement recruitment strategies based on the positions to be filled (retail, corporate, administration, accounting, customer service, etc.) and priorities in order to attract the best talent.
  • Identify potential candidates through headhunting.
  • Monitor recruitment performance indicators and provide daily reports on the progress of recruitment mandates.
  • Optimize processes/procedures, suggest improvements and review job descriptions and other HR documentation.
  • Ensure a quality candidate experience, from contact to onboarding.
  • Promote the referral program.
  • Keep abreast of trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Other human resources related tasks or projects.

Your profile :

  • You have a degree in human resources (e.g.: undergraduate certificate in human resources) or any other related field.
  • You have 6 months to 2 years experience in a similar position (recruitment and/or human resources).
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment, sites/tools (Indeed/Jobillico/Jobs/LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, etc.) and knowledge of sponsorship concepts.
  • Comfortable with technology and social networks.
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) - Advanced level.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken - Bilingualism is desired. The position also requires recruiting for our boutiques located in Ontario.
  • Member of the College of Charted Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) - An asset.
  • Skills and qualities required: Autonomy and initiative, versatility, adaptability, time and priority management, attention to detail and thoroughness, ability to work in a team and build partnerships, discretion and judgment, innovative spirit and ability to generate change, communication skills.
