Key areas of responsibility

Our Technical Writers are responsible for producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our Service Delivery team in providing repeatable, consistent customer service to our clients. Our Technical Writers work closely with our Service Delivery team members to ensure the comprehensiveness of our documentation library.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the clients and the documentation requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Write easy to understand Standard Operating Procedures that are specific to each client
  • Create tutorials to help end-users resolve simple, common issues
  • Analyze existing and potential content
  • Create and maintain the information architecture
  • Contribute in daily team huddles for idea generation and success sharing
  • Other duties as required

Skill & Knowledge Requirements

We're flexible but these are a must:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality documentation paying close attention to detail
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized and able to take ownership
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Previous experience in Managed Services considered an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology (or equivalent) with industry experience.

Assets:

  • Understanding of the Managed Services Industry
  • Strong IT knowledge
