Join us as a Train functional integrator and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St. Bruno.

As a Train Functional Integrator, you will be accountable for the train’s functional architecture. You will be responsible for defining train functions, subsystem requirements and ensuring functional integration at a vehicle level. The functional scope includes Braking, HIB & air supply, Passenger access, Motion Control, Train Mode, Monitoring and Diagnostic, etc. You will undertake delegated responsibilities from the lead Functional Architect of the Product and call-offs of the product family.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product definition and performance for the selected functional features through a VCD (Train/Vehicle Concept Definition);
  • Consolidate, from Product Specifications and/or Technical Specifications, requirements allocated to your functional scope;
  • Consolidate operational scenarios and operability requirements of your scope of functional features;
  • Define the concept of the vehicle through functional analysis and technical analysis with the right performance requirements;
  • Elaborate derived requirements to stakeholders in charge to provide solutions behavior with the required performances;
  • Define/update/maintain an Architecture of Control and Command for the scope.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree, Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum of three (3) years engineering experts experience in the specific technical domain;
  • Very good understanding of Requirement and Change Management, DOORS and/or Systems Integration;
  • Your knowledge of engineering processes MBSE (Model-Based System Engineering) will be a strong asset;
  • Experience on electrical, software design areas;
  • Very good working experience in an international environment;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
