Reporting to the Director, Digital Content and Social Media, the TV/In-Game Host/Digital Producer will be primarily responsible for the following but not limited to:


  • Direct and produce feature/news/community videos for the Hitmen & Roughnecks;
  • Develop new and creative video strategies and ideas to drive engagement;
  • Ability to utilize prompter and conduct interviews as required;
  • In-game hosting duties for the Hitmen and Roughnecks;
  • Host other CSEC events as required;
  • Host some Roughnecks TSN broadcasts;
  • Travel to CSEC away games when required;
  • Write blogs and stories as required;
  • Provide support to all CSEC teams/brands;
  • Publish videos across all digital platforms;
  • Help with content posting when required;
  • Backup other hosts and reporters as required;
  • Assist with the generation of daily and weekly content ideas for all CSEC teams/brands;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned working with all CSEC teams/brands.


The ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Journalism/New Media/Broadcast or related field;
  • Strong communication with the ability to plan and execute video shoots;
  • Creativity and ability to work with tight timelines;
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends;
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly and efficiently in a team environment;
  • Strong hockey and lacrosse knowledge;
  • Flexibility in schedule is important to this role as the chosen candidate will be required to work nights and weekends.
