Our Kelowna team is looking for an enthusiastic Office and Warehouse Administrator to assist their team! The ideal candidate will be someone with proficient communication skills, proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing the best support possible to ongoing objectives of the company. In this role you will also be responsible to perform a variety of administrative duties as required.

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for coordinating and administering shipping and receiving activities in the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate flow of products for internal and external customers; and providing customer service to both.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Keeping the warehouse fully stocked (pulling product from warehouse) while maintaining clean and tidy shelves
  • Providing excellent, friendly customer service
  • Do inventory counts or stock counts to keep inventory correct. Bring inventory corrections to Branch Manager
  • Arrange couriers for pick-up of customer order
  • Create and Receive PO’s and Transfer paperwork
  • Create and update Work Orders as necessary
  • Maintain Inventory control in ERP system
  • Filling shelves with stock
  • Pick customer orders and put into the pickup area for Technicians
  • Go through reports and make sure all orders are accounted for
  • Receiving customer feedback and escalating/resolving issues as required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in administration and/or customer service
  • Experience operating a forklift is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience in ERP Systems and advanced computer ability an asset
  • Industry experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management and organizational skills is required
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage priorities
