We are seeking a Wireless Firmware Developer to become an integral part of our engineering team. You will design and develop embedded firmware to run on our latest cutting edge technology for industrial IoT applications.

We want someone who is a creative thinker and a strong problem solver. The ideal candidate is someone with a keen interest in learning new technologies, taking ownership of their software and processes, and strives in a fast-paced environment.


  • Develop software features as per design specifications and implement them with minimum supervision
  • Firmware and hardware design for embedded systems with an emphasis on firmware
  • Contributing to the design of next-generation IoT sensors technologies, systems, and subcomponents.
  • Work within a team and demonstrate the skills to perform problem analysis to identify and resolve firmware issues
  • Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates
  • Develop and conduct testing plans and procedures
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend systems/equipment/technologies
  • Engage in technical discussions and participate in software design brainstorming sessions
  • Other tasks as required

Minimum requirements

  • Experience in developing Embedded firmware in C and C++
  • Minimum of 3-5+ year of professional experience in related field
  • Experience in working with Atmel microcontrollers
  • Interest in wireless communications
  • Must have strong analytical skills in general engineering assessment and problem solving
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments with changing priorities


  • Experienced and understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, 1-Wire, UART, Bluetooth, etc.
  • Wireless development experience and working with radios and protocols
  • Strong understanding of interrupt based control and implementations
  • Proficient with C/C++ and Python
  • Intrepret schematics and understanding hardware implementations in order to develop the firmware
  • Proficient in using electronics lab equipment – Logic Analyzer, digital multimeter, source meter, power meter, etc.
  • Experienced with GitFlow workflow and version control using Git
  • Can-do attitude, self-driven and proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly document experimental procedures and results
  • Strong analytical skills, highly attentive to detail

Bonus Points

  • Experience with electronics, PCB schematic capture, PCB layout using KiCAD
  • Experience with LoRaWAN, Sigfox, ZigBee, BLE, and / or other low power wireless communication protocol
  • Experience with RTOS
  • Experience with Hardware development
