Location: Toronto, ON — Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) Duration: 12 months | Start: ASAP| Extension & conversion possible based on performance Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) Job Description US Tech Solutions is partnering with a leading financial institution ("Client") to support a high-visibility, AI-led program within Cybersecurity, Global Security, and Defense. We are seeking three (3) experienced Scrum Masters to join a collaborative 15-person team in Toronto, ON. This is not a traditional Project Manager role. The ideal candidate is a true Agile practitioner — someone who has coached teams through Agile transformations, established and optimized pod structures, and facilitated ceremonies with precision. You will work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to transition the team from a SAFe-like model into a leaner, more effective Agile operating model. You will spend roughly 50% of your day in meetings (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, stakeholder syncs), driving continuous improvement, removing impediments, and protecting the team from external distractions. This role offers exposure to AI-driven security initiatives, a supportive culture, and a clear path to extension or conversion. Responsibilities Agile Facilitation & Delivery End-to-end facilitation of Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos). Enforces Agile practices and ensures all ceremonies are held on time with full team attendance. Manages Work In Progress (WIP) limits to help the team achieve predictable flow. Protects the team from outside distractions and hidden work; ensures all work is visible in the Product Backlog. Coordinates logistics and engages control partners for daily stand-ups and sprint events. Transformation & Stakeholder Management Acts as a change agent to adapt processes and maximize productivity throughout the project lifecycle. Works with PMs to organize, establish, and optimize pod/team structures during the SAFe transition. Identifies team improvement opportunities and sources external best practices to increase velocity. Removes impediments and manages cross-team dependencies with key stakeholders. Promotes a collaborative culture, encourages swarming on high-priority stories, and ensures team engagement. Required Skillsets: Project Management Solid foundation in project delivery, risk management, and governance — but with an Agile mindset, not a waterfall PM mentality. Scrum & Agile Methodologies Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles. Experience coaching teams through Agile transformations is highly valued. Agile Tools — JIRA & Confluence Hands-on, daily-use proficiency. Must ensure artifacts are accurate and up to date across the team. Stakeholder Communication Strong written and verbal communication with leadership, control partners, and delivery teams. Preferred Skillsets” SAFe / Agile Certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) — Nice-to-have; demonstrates formal commitment to Agile practice. Power BI / Tableau — Hands-on experience elevates the candidate's profile; useful for reporting team metrics and quality dashboards. AI / Cybersecurity Domain Exposure — Prior experience in security, defense, or AI-led programs is a strong differentiator. Pod Structuring & Optimization — Proven track record of establishing or reorganizing delivery pods for efficiency.
