Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Brampton, Canada Site is looking for a new Revenue Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team.
How you create impact
As a Revenue Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Contract Logistics warehouse business. Acting as a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial expertise, guidance, and collaboration to operational teams.
In this role, you will evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and identify cost-saving initiatives to drive profitable and sustainable results. You will be responsible for maintaining strong cost controls and financial KPI performance, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of P&L (Profit/Loss) and balance sheet reporting in compliance with ICS standards and Kuehne+Nagel guidelines.
- Prepare accurate, timely customer invoicing including providing detailed backup data and KPIs where required, ensuring integrity of Customer Invoicing and P&L entries for purchases and spend for Customer profitability reporting
- Produce customer analysis and reports, ensuring accuracy to the Operational Management team and Customers as applicable
- Work closely in collaboration with AR team to monitor customer payments and to support credit limit requests and extended payment terms business cases
- Monitor spend against budget/forecast and provide variance analysis including detailed explanations and costings, ensure transactions are reconciled
- Responsible for daily administration and accuracy of timekeeping records and submission to payroll, ensuring that payroll costings are reported accurately against Customer Profit and Loss accounts and against budget/forecast
- Maintain and ensure cost accuracy and control the administration of purchases through internal Purchase Control system and ensure purchase ledger queries are resolved in a timely manner
- Design, develop and prepare, accurate weekly and monthly management accounts, including reporting of Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations, maintaining accuracy of accruals and prepayments

What we would like you to bring
- 3+ years’ experience in finance accounting / controlling environment or similar role
- Preferably in logistics / transportation industry
- Preferably studying or experienced in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology
- Clear understanding of financial and accounting concepts
- Ability to relay financial information to non-financial personnel
- Ability to work on own initiative and use personal judgement when assessing risks and initiative in troubleshooting
- Ability to challenge the status quo
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma would be beneficial
- Great communication, strong MS Office, advanced proficiency in MS Excel, experience with Power BI, and data visualization platforms
- CPA / CMA qualified, minimum mid way studying in progress
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to maintain focus work on multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong numeracy skills and experienced negotiation skills
- Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

The target salary range for this position is between $66,170.00 CAD and $82,713.00,000 CAD. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
