About the role
Purpose:
The Information Technology Assistant is responsible for providing network, software application and project related support.
Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student.
Experience:
Previous work experience may be considered.
Skills:
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of technology and equipment.2. Ability to learn and use a variety of computer applications. 3. Ability to recognize and solve problems.4. Ability to generate new ideas or recommend changes to existing programs.5. Ability to gather and organize a large amount of information.6. Ability to present data in a variety of document and display formats.7. Ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.8. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
