Private Label Development Co-ordinator, Johnstons of Elgin - Elgin

We have an exciting opportunity, focusing on Industrialisation, based at our Elgin site. This is a permanent, full-time role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on site. The salary for this role starts from £24,897 per annum, dependent on experience.
About The Role In this role, you will support our Private Label commercial team with the coordination of woven private label product launches. You will work closely with commercial, design, operations, and quality teams to bring new products through development and into industrialisation ahead of bulk production.
Key Tasks
- co-ordinating with commercial and design teams to assist with product developments for private label customers
- co-ordination of sample launches and working with operations team to ensure efficient turn-around of prototypes
- working with ops and quality teams to identify and manage risks with new developments
- assisting with the industrialisation of products ahead of bulk production launches
- maintaining impeccable records in relation to ongoing developments
- continuously looking for opportunities to improve and streamline processes
About You We’re looking for someone who is –

About DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Moray
"Developing The Young Workforce" (DYW) is an initiative which is primarily aimed at improving outcomes for young people. It will achieve this by increasing employer engagement in education, better using limited resources and showcasing good practice.
The strategy and targets, agreed with Scottish Government, will enable young people, their parents and their teachers to understand the local labour market and opportunities and progression paths that are available to them. The project will also see sustainable long term partnerships being formed between local businesses and schools/colleges. This improved two-way relationship will see significant improvements in the amount of young people who are recruited locally and increased number of young people taking a modern apprenticeship.
Developing the Young Workforce groups have been set up all over the country, with the support of the Scottish Government, in response to Sir Ian Woods report Developing Scotland’s Young Workforce. Moray businesses are urged to get involved to retain talent in the area and develop young people with the relevant skills for their business.
