About the role
Bailey Nelson is seeking a Digital Performance Marketer to join our North American Support Office for a one-year maternity leave contract. You’ll lead performance marketing for our Canadian business while supporting Australia and New Zealand. We’re a close-knit, down-to-earth team focused on bringing joy to eyecare and constantly improving the customer experience.
About the Role
As a Performance Marketer, you will plan, execute, and optimise paid acquisition campaigns across Google, Meta, and TikTok. You’ll analyse performance data, uncover insights, and drive growth across all acquisition channels.
Key Responsibilities

Build, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, PMax, Shopping, YouTube, Display).

Develop and optimise full-funnel Meta campaigns, including prospecting and retargeting.

Report weekly using Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and GA4.

Manage monthly budgets and ensure efficient spend.

Partner with creative and marketing teams to test new strategies and innovations.

Improve ROI and CPA across channels.

Support the content team with organic social posting, boosting, and reporting.

Contribute to campaign strategy and media planning across the wider team.
Who You Are
-
You are a technical whiz when it comes to managing paid accounts. You have a few years of experience managing ads directly in the platforms (Google Ads,, Editor, Meta and TikTok).

You understand budgets and know how to balance customer growth with cost and retention rates in order to maximize return on investment and value for spend.

You are a strategist - you will take our Marketing calendar and turn it into ad campaigns.

You are organised and can handle a quick pace as well as multiple initiatives/priorities at a time.

You are data-driven - with solid numerical examples for analyzing user behaviour and pivoting your campaigns. You understand how to calculate ROAS, CPA and other performance metrics. You understand traffic acquisition reporting in GA4 as well as understand the user-behaviour reports.

You love being hands-on - especially when you need to work with pixels, audience segments and landing pages.

You are a communicator, able to break down and convey performance information in a way that’s easy to understand for non-marketers.

You are not afraid to experiment - you think outside of the box when it comes to growth strategies and new acquisition channels. You like the idea of utilizing small test budgets to efficiently and quickly discover insights.

You are a thought leader who enjoys sharing your knowledge and keeping across the latest trends and insights into the digital landscape.

You have a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content alignment with search intent; experienced collaborating with content teams to ensure synergy between paid and organic strategies.

You are a team player - you will be in a tight-knit environment with the eCommerce, Marketing, development and creative teams.
Requirements

3–5 years’ hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, Display) and Meta Ads Manager.

Proven success driving growth through data-led acquisition and optimisation.

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, charts, dashboards).

Proficient in GA4 for acquisition, conversion, and user-behaviour analysis; strong understanding of ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR.
