Fan Experience Team Member - CSEC Venue Operations Hiring Fair (July 22 & July 23)
About the role
CSEC is hosting a Venue Operations Job Fair, on July 22nd from 1:00 PM to 5:00
PM and July 23rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Scotiabank Saddledome. We are hiring on the spot for the Fan Experience Team Member role, so please bring your resume!

FAN EXPERIENCE TEAM MEMBER

THE POSITION
As a member of our Fan Experience and Security Department, you’ll be the face of
our venues, creating unforgettable first and last impressions for fans coming to all CSEC events. The moment fans arrive, you’ll be the ones to set the vibes, from welcoming fans while taking tickets or assisting them through primary security screening, to assisting them with wayfinding and crowd management.
Our Fan Experience Team Members are more than just frontline support, we are the
friendly face, storyteller, and strategic problem solver for our fans. With being the primary contact for our fans, you will be able to make lasting impressions in some of the most memorable experiences our fans will have.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all to come to our building for an expectational experience.
- Assist with guest arrival while ticket taking and assisting our guests through security screening.
- Create a personal understanding of our venues to best assist our fans with way finding and education on our standards and Fan Code of Conduct.
- Work with your supervisor to creatively solve problems or concerns our fans have.
- Strong communication skills to communicate through different channels to our Event Command and leadership teams.
- Participate and be a champion of the health and safety of our team, fans and venues.
- Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules.
- All other duties as assigned.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal individual will have the following background
- This position involves extended periods of standing and walking, including frequent use of stairs.
- A people first approach with a genuine passion for creating a great experience.
- Ability to remain calm, professional and friendly in fast paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to use two-way radios, phones, and text.
- Be a team player with the understanding that everything we do is for the best and safest fan experience.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a sensory overloading environment within events.
- Ability to work inside and outside, in all seasons.
