About the role
Title: HVAC Installation Manager
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Reporting to: Manager
The Opportunity As the HVAC Installation Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of skilled technicians. This is a full-time leadership role where you’ll balance field presence with office responsibilities, ensuring installations are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Your mornings often start with staging jobs and checking in with technicians, setting clear expectations for quality, safety, and timelines. Throughout the day, you’re coordinating with the installation coordinator, warehouse supervisor, and sales manager to ensure every project has the people, equipment, and plan in place to run smoothly.
Back in the office, you’ll review job performance, track expenses, and look for ways to improve efficiency. Every day brings variety, but the goal is always the same: on-time, high-quality installations that make customers proud to choose this company.
Key Responsibilities As the HVAC Installation Manager, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of HVAC and plumbing installation technicians.
- Set expectations for each project, ensuring safety, code compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and stage jobs, coordinating with warehouse and office teams for smooth execution.
- Conduct training to support technical growth, efficiency, and workmanship.
- Monitor technician performance, providing coaching and constructive feedback.
- Track and control job expenses to meet budget goals.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, maintaining a 5-star experience.
- Support innovation by helping launch new products, tools, and processes.
Qualifications As the HVAC Installation Manager, you will bring:
- Proven track record in HVAC and plumbing installation, with at least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- A motivating leader who instills pride of workmanship and accountability in others.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent follow-through.
- Comfortable juggling office work and field visits, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing, approachable, and positive personality with a flexible mindset.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation.
