Job Description:
Note: These are vacancies for part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 12, 2026. Expected teaching day(s) to occur between Monday to Friday.

Fanshawe College is seeking interested and experienced legal professional s to join our team as part-time Professors in the School of Public Safety.
Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager, part-time Professors at Fanshawe College are responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Availability for in-person on campus delivery is required for most courses, and successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario.
We require qualified faculty to teach across the following area:
- Family Legal Services Provider ( FLSP) Certificate program

What You'll Bring
- Post-secondary 4-year in University Law Program
- Master’s degree in a related field of study and/or Bachelor of Education/Master of Education is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of recent family law practice experience as a lawyer within the Province of Ontario is required
- L1 License in good standing with Law Society of Ontario is required (must provide LSO number)
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the challenges of diverse student groups is an asset
- Teaching Experience in a post secondary institution is an asset
- Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
