SCOPE
Reporting to the Manager, Institutional Support Functions Ecosystem, the incumbent collaborates with subject matter experts, business analysts, and governance committees to support the continuous evolution of financial systems. They lead strategic initiatives to enhance financial reporting by delivering innovative business intelligence solutions that respond proactively to changing organizational needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and BW (Business Warehouse) reporting objects including input templates and forms, data models, data accuracy, data extraction and data conversion.
• Oversee the entire reporting and budget input lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the performance of SAP BPC and BW reports, implementing enhancements to improve query response times and data processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and compliance of data used in SAP BPC and BW reports. Implement data integration strategies to streamline data flow from source systems to reporting environments.
• Provide training and support to end users on SAP BPC and BW reporting tools and functionalities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions.
• Manage change requests and system enhancements related to SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions. Coordinate with stakeholders to assess the impact of changes and help implement effective change management processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration and four to seven years of systems administration experience, with significant exposure to Finance reporting and budgeting.
• Experience with SAP BPC, SAP BW embedded models, SAP HANA modelling or SAP Analysis for Office.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA modules: Finance, Controlling, Fund Management, Grant Management, Budget, Payroll.
• Demonstrated experience or training with BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, Excel VBA/Macro, Qlik, SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, S/4HANA analytics and Fiori.
• Experience with migrations to SAP Analytic Cloud desirable.
• Knowledge of other SAP solutions such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.
• Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English. Basic knowledge (Level 3) of spoken French.
