DHL Express has openings for Full- Time Customer Counter Warehouse at our Victoria, BC location. You will support the business by accurately and efficiently managing shipments and packages in order to serve our customers’ needs to the best of our ability. Join us and help us achieve our mission of having the best day every day.

Available Shift: 07:00am to 3.30pm.
Wage: $22.71/hr (for first 3 months) which will increase as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use scanner to scan all waybills, scan-able waybills, shippers own bar-coded labels.
• Handling of parcels/shipments.
• General duties of warehouse cleaning.
• Interact effectively with other members of the warehouse and operation teams.
• Compiling & Analyzing operation reports.
• Comply with the collective agreement.
• Keeping in mind safety and health measures related to the workplace.
• Customer service.
• All other related tasks.

Do you have what it takes?

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Professional representation of DHL at all times, including the maintenance and presentation of vehicle, uniform, waybills/product.
• Proactively manage the customer’s perception of and level of satisfaction with our service.
• Interact effectively with other members of the customer service and operation teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
• Driver’s license (Asset).
• Must be able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments (up to 70 lbs).
