About the role
Do you want your work in health and safety to truly make a difference? Here's a role grounded in reality, at the heart of the St. Lawrence River and the Quebec territory. Our client plays a vital role in maritime transportation, connecting remote communities like Anticosti and the Lower North Shore. Where the road ends, they take over — providing a lifeline, not just a service. They're committed to building a strong culture of prevention. That’s where you come in: working directly with senior management, you'll be their go-to HSE reference, bridging strategy and the field — from office to ship to the ports they serve. If you're looking to explore the region, be part of something bigger, and keep people safe, this role is for you. This position, based in Rimouski, involves 40 to 60% travel on the main vessel and to the serviced ports. It’s a key opportunity to contribute to a meaningful and structuring project.
