About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Manager, Communications to lead internal and external communications initiatives across our organization. This role is responsible for shaping and executing communication strategies that support JDI’s business objectives, enhance brand reputation, and foster engagement. This position is located at our head office in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with business goals.

Oversee internal communications programs to enhance employee engagement and alignment.

Lead and contribute to content creation for digital platforms, including websites, social channels and internal communication tools.

Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.

Monitor communication metrics and provide insights to improve effectiveness.

Manage a small team of communication professionals.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business or a related field.

Five to seven years of progressive experience leading communications, preferably in a complex or multi-industry organization.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Strong project management and leadership abilities.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
