####Position Overview
Foundation Health is seeking aSleep Medicine Physicianto join our growing team. This role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of sleep disorders, working collaboratively with primary care providers and specialists within our network.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to build or expand a sleep medicine practice within a supportive, modern, and integrated clinical environment.
####Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with sleep disorders, including:
- Obstructive sleep apnea
- Insomnia
- Restless legs syndrome
- Circadian rhythm disorders
- Interpret sleep studies (polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests)
- Develop and oversee treatment plans, including CPAP therapy and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with family physicians and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient education on sleep hygiene and treatment adherence
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in EMR systems
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
####Qualifications
- Medical degree with licensure in Ontario
- Certification in Sleep Medicine (RCPSC, CPSO)
- Background in Internal Medicine, Respirology, Neurology, or Family Medicine with sleep-focused practice
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
