About the role
Administrator - Foundation Excavation Division
Kidco is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Foundations Excavation team as our new Administrator**. This position serves as the crucial link between the office and our field operations. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and is extremely organized.**
Your core responsibilities:
- Creating and setting up jobs in our custom job tracking/costing software
- Collecting, tracking, and inputting daily timesheets for employees and subcontractors
- Calling and scheduling AB One Call locates for jobsites
- Communicating and coordinating activities with multiple builders including scheduling digs, purchase order requests, payment statuses, etc.
- Generating invoicing for multiple builders
- Matching and comparing subcontractor timesheets with monthly invoices
- During peak season, supporting grading and loaming projects including assigning jobs to multiple crews, requesting surveys for jobs, keeping job lists organized and up to date
- Filing job-specific paperwork, hazard assessments, etc.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience in construction, particularly residential construction, is an asset
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills; this job moves quickly, and we need someone who can keep up
- Has previous experience in administration or accounting and is adept at invoice, and managing vendor requirements
- Excellent data entry abilities and a strong attention to detail
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- A team player mentality, and can work both independently and as part of a larger team
