About the role
Main Responsibilities
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, our Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy and other nutritional care functions to clients and the broader community, which includes counselling in support of behaviour change goals that lead to improved clinical outcomes and health status.
- They also provide individual Diabetes education counselling, community outreach and health promotion.

Compensation Package
- 13-month contract to cover a planned leave of absence
- A starting annual salary range of $69,000 - $73,000*
- Monday to Friday - no weekends!

- 100% employer-paid health & dental package, including up to $2,000/benefit year for mental health, $1,500 for massage therapy

*An enhanced salary scale would apply for a Certified Diabetes Educator
Required Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree in food and nutrition
- Current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) through the Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board (or working towards certification)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in diabetes care
- Experience facilitating individual and group education sessions
- Awareness and understanding of the social determinants of health
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds with an inclusive and anti‑oppressive lens
Extras to Tell Us About
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Telus Practice Solutions Suite currently in use)
- French and other language skills are considered an asset in supporting the communities we serve
