Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Manager is a key driver of culture, connection, and growth at the Rimrock Banff. In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment strategies that reflect our luxury brand standards and the vibrant spirit of our team. You are not just filling jobs, you are welcoming future Heartisans and shaping the soul of our resort.
This role requires a proactive, people-first leader who is passionate about storytelling, candidate experience, and building strong partnerships with hiring managers across every department. Deep operational understanding and the ability to translate business needs into effective hiring strategies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Recruitment & Employer Branding
- Design and implement recruitment strategies that align with the resort’s luxury positioning and seasonal workforce needs.
- Own and evolve the Rimrock’s employer brand, bringing our culture to life across job postings, recruitment materials, and social platforms.
- Source, attract, and engage top talent through creative campaigns, career fairs, partnerships, and targeted outreach.
Hiring Manager Partnership & Operational Alignment
- Build strong, consultative relationships with department leaders to understand their hiring needs, challenges, and goals.
- Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interview best practices, behavioral-based questions, and inclusive hiring techniques.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, connecting recruitment strategy directly to operational success.
Candidate Experience & Onboarding Support
- Champion a welcoming, high-touch candidate experience from application to offer.
- Coordinate interviews, pre-employment screening, and timely communication.
- Partner with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to Heartisan.
Data, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze recruitment data to inform decision-making and optimize hiring strategies.
- Maintain and improve ATS workflows and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends, labor market shifts, and innovative sourcing methods.
Culture Advocacy, DEI & Immigration Awareness
- Support and reflect the Rimrock’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all talent practices.
- Stay current on Canadian immigration programs and work permit policies to support international hiring and compliance.
- Act as a culture ambassador internally and externally, sharing what it means to "Stay Moved" at the Rimrock.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or human resources
- Strong operational awareness and understanding of resort or hospitality environments
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders across all levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and storytelling skills
- Confidence using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms
- A warm, proactive, and highly collaborative approach to work
Bonus if You Bring
- Experience recruiting in high-volume or seasonal environments
- Background in employer branding, content creation, or recruitment marketing
- Knowledge of behavioral and values-based interview methods
- Familiarity with Canadian immigration pathways and international workforce planning
Who You Are
You're a connector, a motivator, and a natural people-person. You thrive in environments where every day is different and every conversation matters. Your communication style is warm, enthusiastic, and persuasive, and you’re always focused on building strong, positive relationships.
You’re quick to connect, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and deeply invested in helping others succeed. You understand that great hiring is about listening, guiding, and championing the right fit, not just checking boxes.
You believe that influence comes from trust, and that real leadership means rolling up your sleeves and showing up for your team.
You know that when you hire right, everything else flows.
Lead the conversation. Build the culture. Stay moved.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
