About the role
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Dispatcher to manage transportation operations, delivery planning, and field staff scheduling. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction by coordinating effectively between internal teams, external suppliers, and clients. If you're resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic workdays, this position is for you. We’re seeking someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action, managing schedules, coordinating teams, and keeping everything running smoothly—day after day.
Tasks
- Plan, organize, and track deliveries, installations, returns, and equipment servicing.
- Coordinate the work of drivers, technicians, service teams, and subcontractors.
- Manage daily and weekly schedules while optimizing available resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including DOT, permits, inspections, etc.).
- Communicate with clients to confirm timelines, site access, and specific needs.
- Create, track, and file administrative documents: work orders, purchase orders, reports, etc.
- Assist with branch administrative tasks (reception, reporting, payroll, operations support).
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal teams.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

Job requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (training in logistics or management is an asset).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics coordination, transport, or dispatch.
- Experience supervising teams or managing personnel (employees or subcontractors).
- Strong computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Safety boots required.
- Warehouse experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of DOT compliance, telematics, or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
