This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.
Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day to day operations of the Guest Experience department to ensure a smooth, efficient experience for our guests with a strong focus on delivery of best in class interactive and engaging hospitality.
- Support coaching, performance management and ongoing development of our team including regular feedback and recognition, as well as staff training including creating resources for training and operational support.
- Provide on the floor leadership on a regular basis demonstrating a positive example of hospitality to our guests, making observations of trends and opportunities for improvements and supporting escalated guest issues
- Identify operational gaps or opportunities for improvement and help develop and implement new processes, procedures or resources.
- Monitor, review and support initiatives for continuous improvement and quality assurance across team performance, departmental facilities and hospitality delivery
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure operational alignment, efficiency and high quality hospitality, addressing cross departmental challenges, supporting solutions and ensuring regular, open communication is maintained.
- Support of Groups and Cash Control operations by overseeing accurate completion of reconciliation and administration, as well as support with training and issues when needed.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and other technology needs by acting as on site IT contact for systems support, troubleshooting and escalations to IT department.
- Assist Guest Experience Manager with departmental leadership and operational support including acting as a key leadership contact for decision making, problem solving and continuity in the Manager’s absence.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Seeking someone mature, energetic, dependable and self-driven to assist in management of the Guest Experience team. Needs to have the ability to thrive and lead independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality that is passionate about engaging with guests and continuous improvement of hospitality focused approaches
- Previous supervisory, cash reconciliation and cash handling experience, required
- Organization and time management skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this position!
- Experience and strong interest in training, coaching and developing employees
- Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude
- Previous experience using RTP, POS systems, Microsoft Teams and other Office applications, an asset Standard First Aid or higher an asset
