Job Description

Position: Crane Sales/Service Coordinator

Location: Saskatoon

Kristian Electric is looking for a Crane Sales/Service Coordinator to join our Saskatoon branch. As the Crane Sales/Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and updating all sales information/progress and working jobs for the Crane Sales Representatives and team. You will also promote customer satisfaction, handle all administrative sales tasks, and motivate sales representatives to exceed targets and continuously improve their tactics. The ideal candidate will be:

Education:

·         A high school diploma

·         A Bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred

Experience:

·         Previous experience as a Sales/Service Coordinator is preferred

Responsibilities:

·         Project Management for all installations

·         Prepare and submit quotes to customers

·         Estimation and design of special projects with high technical specifications

·         Liaise with production, Freight and Engineering divisions, together with subcontractors and suppliers to control timelines and provide accurate scheduling for projects

·         Provide job specific instruction with all pertinent data to install crews to ensure smooth installations without issues on site

·         Creation and execution of engineered lift plans for specialized installations

·         Retrieve any required legal and engineering documentation

·         Staff development and training of mechanical, electrical and installation personnel

·         Develop safe working procedures for installation activities, ensuring requirements of company quality assurance and relevant standards are upheld

·         Developed Safe rigging policy and Sling calculator for Install technicians to ensure ASME B30.26 and B30.9 are applied correctly for de-rating and design load factors

·         Technical mentor to Project Manager and field install/service staff

·         Author of manufacturing procedures for fabrication of standard crane products

·         Liaise all communications with suppliers including order confirmations, creating PO’s, equipment delivery dates, and follow-ups, ability to source parts from multiple vendors

·         Communicate with clients by liaising all relevant information regarding their order (confirmation, creating work orders, creating PO’s, equipment delivery dates) and follow-ups with the vendors/suppliers, and continuous follow-up and relationship building as a key sales contact

·         Provide information and assist with updates when communicating with the shipping/receiving departments

·         Collaborate with other branches for any order information and any equipment or delivery updates

·         Collaborate with sales team for service jobs and projects as required – preparing quotes, recommending vendors, briefing, and customer service

·         Prioritize all RFQ responsibilities including downloading of project specs from contractors’ sites and looking through contractor websites for potential new projects

·         Pre/Post install client meetings, including install follow ups and delivery of crane logbooks

·         Implement and maintain a best practice filing system for all crane sales paperwork

·         Update all prices from vendors and compute into internal systems
