Casino Technical Supervisor
About the role
Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, the Casino Technical Supervisor supervises the daily operations of casino technical gaming activities, ensuring compliance with SLGA and internal gaming regulations and procedures. This role will oversee and manage the installation, conversion, maintenance, and repair of gaming and cash equipment, ensuring maximum uptime for continuous guest satisfaction and provide leadership and guidance to Casino Technicians, including performance management, scheduling, and staffing in alignment with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
Monitoring casino technical gaming activities and ensuring compliance with casino technical gaming regulations and procedures. Ensuring Electronic Gaming Devices are in good working order. Assisting department management with staffing and performance management. Carrying out a wide variety of administrative tasks as directed by the Asset Protection Manager. Creating, distributing and revising staff schedules to meet operational needs, adding inventory/audit/compliance functions and control costs. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA’s priorities.
Successful completion of a one-year certificate or diploma in Electronics. Certification in Engineering Technology is an asset. Certification in Belden IBDN or related structured cabling systems is an asset. Minimum 4 year’s related experience is required.
