About the role
Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified company that is a subsidiary of the Exchange Income Corporation which has recently grown through the merger with Bearskin Airlines. With approximately 900 employees, we operate a fleet of 45+ aircraft including the Metro 2, 3, 23, Merlin and Dash 8 aircraft. We are based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba as well as Sioux Lookout, Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Toronto Ontario. We provide scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter services, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services.

Position Summary
As a Structures Technician, you are required to carry out tasks as assigned by the Structures Shop Supervisor on a wide variety of primarily aircraft structures tasks and other projects as assigned. Duties will include in-shop work and on-aircraft tasks.

Responsibilities
- Comply with all current approved data: Airworthiness Directives, Service
Bulletins, approved drawings and current manuals for repairs and approvals
- Identify and report abnormal or unusual occurrences on aircraft defects
- Responsible to collect all data, parts and tooling required for the task at hand
- The ability to think outside the box, while maintaining compliance
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Education and Experience
- Completion of grade 12 or equivalent
- 5 years of structural experience on pressurized aircraft preferred
- Transport Canada S-License or completed Approved training, with full
accreditation a strong asset
- Ability to qualify for RAIC Pass
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to understand engineering drawings is required
- First Nations Awareness training considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Work in a shop environment with full range of movement (flexibility) required
- Extended periods of standing, crouching and kneeling in an aircraft and shop
- Fast-paced environment; constraining deadlines; repetitive tasks
- Periods of heavy lifting up to a maximum of 100lbs
- Shift work may be required (day, evening, and/or night shift)
- Travel required
- Outside work required, all seasons
- Use of PPE required
