In this role, you’ll be responsible for the leadership and management of one of our busiest Advice Centers, member service delivery, coaching and development, community relations, compliance, and proactive development and growth of retail deposit and lending portfolios.

What you’ll do:
- Manage our River District & Metrotown Advice Centres including hiring, training, mentoring, developing and coaching the branch staff
- Lead the team in delivering the credit union’s vision, values, and commitments
- Manage a profit centre by attaining sales, deposit, loan, and membership growth goals
- Analyze reports and identify trends along with identifying marketing opportunities for the branch trade area
- Ensure integrated service delivery of products and services, including financial planning, wealth management, personal mortgages, loans, LOC’s, deposits, mutual funds, insurance products, and/or commercial needs of members
- Evaluate profit/loss potential using information systems combined with personal knowledge and experience within our industry
- Undertake business development to grow and develop our membership, asset base and revenue
- Initiate and drive in-branch campaigns designed to improve our overall results
- Proven leadership and management of retail credit union or bank branches, ensuring the consistent achievement of branch goals and targets
- Coaching and mentorship expertise and the ability to foster your team's growth and development
- Strategic thinking and planning skills
- Change management experience (an asset)
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect, engage and provide advice to branch teams and stakeholders
- Business development acumen with experience in creating and growing positive member relationships and branch portfolios
- Knowledge in deposit-related products, personal lending, residential mortgages, and wealth management
- Excellent sales and business development ability with success in negotiating terms and conditions with members

What We Offer:
- Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $85,600 to $107,000 based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
