Make an impact with our Strategy & Planning Marketing team as a Coordinator, Internal Communications. This diverse team of professionals drives the growth and success of MNP’s brand. As a trusted advisor, you’ll collaborate with MNP leaders to plan and develop strategic and integrated internal communications that support MNP’s goals.

This opportunity is a for a 14-month term beginning March 2026 until May 2027. This opportunity is available in the following locations across Canada: Calgary or Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the planning, tracking, and measuring of large-scale, long-term operational initiatives
- Track progress of multiple workstreams within an initiative by establishing kanban-style boards and providing status reports that are easy to digest
- Proactively flag potential issues or barriers to progress, suggest remediation tactics, and support efforts to get the initiative back on track
- Liaise with team members, stakeholders, and leaders of all levels
- Facilitate efficient feedback cycles for work-in-progress deliverables such as video scripts, video drafts, or presentation decks
- Measure and report on the impact of initiatives and new ways of working
- Share ownership and administration of internal Microsoft platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, and Viva Engage
- Post updates to internal Microsoft platforms on behalf of the Internal Communications team
- Schedule meetings, video shoots, and other initiative-driven events
- Identify, document, and action next steps from meetings, transcripts, or meeting recordings
- Advocate for marketing and communication best practices
- Contribute to change efforts related to the adoption of communication and collaboration tools
- Submit materials for translation and reformat completed translations to match original formatting as required
- Refine and polish written deliverables, as required
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a project coordination role
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, without compromising a high level of attention to detail
- Experience working effectively in a matrixed organization while being able to navigate a wide variety of cultural differences and skill sets
- Willingness to help others and work as a team, including working flexible schedules to collaborate across time zones
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Teams, SharePoint Online, and Planner
- Excellent organization and time management skills to drive progress on complex initiatives with many moving parts
- Strong written and spoken communication skills to effectively communicate initiative needs to relevant stakeholders
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders for time-sensitive requests
- Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset
- Any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Marketing and/or internal communications experience within a large, national company
- Experience with Viva Engage
- Certification in project coordination, marketing and communications, or a related field
