Hourly rate:$18.22

The Systems Analyst - Student Worker position is responsible for the design, development, support, upgrade, troubleshooting and documentation of ITS supported applications and platforms at SAIT.
The Systems Analyst - Student Worker works closely with ITS departments, business partners, and SAIT clients to understand business needs and applicable policies, develop requirements, and assist with designing, developing, configuring, coding, implementing, managing and maintaining robust solutions that meet these needs.
###How you'll contribute
- Perform requirements definition, configuration, integration, upgrades, documentation, and custom application development
- Understands system interdependencies and collaborates with teams accordingly
- Create and maintain system design and operations documentation
- Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions that may require coordination of other groups, including vendors
- Help build out and develop internal processes that interface with processes of other technical teams and further support excellence
- Research application specific new features and unused functionalities to drive platform specific expansion and adoption
- Engage in evaluating and improving processes through the implementation of ITIL and industry best practices
- Collaborate with SAIT ITS leadership to prioritize and execute applications improvements
###What you bring
Minimum Experience Required
- Must be enrolled, full-time, in a SAIT Bachelor’s degree program or diploma for the duration of the contract
- Systems analysis and troubleshooting experience
- Familiar with all aspects of the SDLC, Scrum or Agile methodologies, ITIL 4 framework, Change Management standards and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Attention to details with good verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Excellent collaboration skills, with internal clients and vendors
- Adaptable to change with ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Strong multi-tasking, logistics and organizational capabilities
- Application Developer or relevant experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science
- Certified Application Developer and Administrator
- 1-3 years of experience in higher education IT
- DevOps experience
- Multi-system integration process automation and orchestration
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science
- Integration platform knowledge such as: Azure Data Factory, Boomi Integration, Salesforce, ServiceNow Integration Hub, Business Analysis
- Project Management
- ITIL 4
