HUSKY Technologies is seeking a process oriented, mature, self-starting Cost/Tariff Financial Analyst that will play a critical role in working with the Finance Director, Global Operations to accurately calculate tariff costs on Husky’s product offerings. The successful candidate will work within established methodologies and formulas to support our Sales, Trade Compliance and Finance leaders with tariff costs.
This is a 6 month contract role with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Calculate, using established methodologies and formulas tariff costs on certain commodities included in shipments of Husky’s product offerings

Identify and communicate tariff cost inconsistencies, to ensure accuracy and alignment with key stakeholders in a timely manner

Problem solve and escalate inconsistencies in calculations
JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge and experience of manufacturing cost accounting
-
Formally document and save calculated values for audit purposes

Ability to work professionally under time constraints
-
Self-starter with strong communication skills (oral and written) to all departments and levels of the organization

Ability to follow standard work processes and documentation requirements
-
Apply practical problem solving and seek assistance in a timely manner

Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel), comfortable with Pivot Tables, graphs, and formulas with multiple sources

Highly Analytical with detail orientation

Systematic problem solver and naturally curious
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Solid understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
-
2-3 years’ experience working in Finance role with a dynamic manufacturing environment
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance
