What you’ll do:

• Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Battleford Department.
• Perform duties and responsibilities of a cashier.
• Maintain shelf label information, prices & PLU codes and best before codes for all merchandise.
• Assist with receiving, pricing and displaying of merchandise.
• To receive all products in accordance with Discovery Co-op policies and procedures. All received goods should be inspected to ensure quality and completeness of the order. Perform other duties assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

• Must be under age 18 and actively attending high school and registered in class or classes
• If ages 14 or 15, must have completed the Young Worker Readiness Certificate
• Food Safe Handling Certificate would be an asset.
• Must be capable of lifting to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
