Company Overview:

Position Overview
The Scheduler plays a key role in keeping projects and operations running smoothly. By staying organized and proactive, the Scheduler helps ensure projects are completed on time, resources are used efficiently, and clients receive excellent service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review jobs received from Project Managers and prepare them for production.
- Develop, update, and maintain job schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Manage job boards
- Sending crew dispatches
- Monitor daily field reports and follow up on outstanding items as needed
- Order and stage materials
- Communicate with customers regarding crew arrivals, schedule changes, and updates
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day needs and provide timely updates
- Receive directions from the Operations Manager and Department Supervisors
Provide administrative support, including Health & Safety tasks, as required
Health and Safety
- OHS committee member – maintain first aid supplies – prepare reports as required – maintain OHS board
- Ensure that self and others adhere to Canstar’s health and safety practices and procedures
- Ensure good housekeeping is kept to perform work safely and efficiently
- Understand safety policies and protocols
- Ensure that self and others on site are wearing all required PPE, when required

A detail-oriented and well-organized individual with strong administrative and coordination skills is an ideal fit for the Scheduler role. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on internal and external customer service will set you up for success. The Scheduler thrives on accuracy, teamwork, and clear communication while supporting operations and project delivery. Other important attributes of a Scheduler are:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
