We operate national and provincial lotteries in partnership with 3500 retail partners, provide the games, technology & oversight to 37 brick & mortar casinos, and operate a safe secure and 100% legal online gambling presence PlayNow.com. The Team
BCLC’s operations and player experience is supported by highly complex technology. Joining the Business Technology team at BCLC means you’ll be working with cutting-edge technology to help build a world-class entertainment company. This is an engaged, innovative, capable group of talented individuals working in digital enablement, product delivery services, technology platform enablement, enterprise services, integrity and operations. This enables us to execute the purchase and validation of lottery tickets at over 3400 lottery retailers, manage a complex network of 12,000 slot machines and electronic table games across the province and provide the backbone for BCLC’s eGaming platform, and much more.
The Business Analysis team is part of a larger group focused on Delivery services within our Business Technology Division. They are consultative partners, leading the organization through technology changes that deliver maximum value to our players.
The Role
As a Business Analyst 3, you will play a key role in driving business analysis within an Agile or Hybrid framework. Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, you will apply advanced analytical skills and BA expertise supporting large scale technology transformations from ideation to implementation . Your responsibilities include leading analysis planning, gap evaluations, facilitation, elicitation and documentation of requirements, processes, and other analysis needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
What you will accomplish

Work with our business and technical teams to assess opportunities that will improve player experiences and provide comprehensive analysis that result in effectively designed, developed and rolled out technology solutions.

Prove yourself as a consultative partner and structured analysis expert to clarify, connect, articulate and document business needs to create a shared understanding of desired changes across cross-functional teams.

Drive complex IT initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and deliver exceptional experiences.

Collaborate with other business analysts to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth to advance the Business Analysis capability.
Qualifications and skills
-
A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
-
4 - 6 years of recent senior level business analysis experience under a dedicated role
-
Must have extensive experience on large scale IT initiatives within Agile or Hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology

A combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills may be considered
