About the role
Unisync is a leading provider of award winning North American Corporate Apparel, and Public Safety, Law Enforcement Uniform, Equipment supplies and protective garments across Canada and the United States. Our customer base includes Air Canada, WestJet, Canadian Coast Guard, Purolator, Petro Canada, Home Hardware, Alaska Airlines and a broad base of government entities such as the Federal Government of Canada.
Reporting to the Director, Electronic Storefront, the Bilingual Electronic Storefront Coordinator role is a hybrid role supporting / maintaining eCommerce stores and as the primary person in the company to create visual contents like power point design, customer presentations, posters for conference, digital assets required for the eCommerce stores, etc. This position requires a detail-oriented, independent, self-organized individual with a flair for design, and strong communication skills in both English and French.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support existing client eCommerce stores; manage the requests in the ticketing system for both new projects and any troubleshooting needs.
- Create and maintain product catalogs and customer logins, images, and descriptions, product visuals, and other admin data management functions for the online stores.
- Photograph, crop, edit, and retouch garment/product images for use in eCommerce platforms, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns, ensuring consistency in image quality and brand guidelines.
- Design and produce digital marketing materials, including banners, ads, emails, and social graphics using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prepare product imagery and graphics for various online channels (eCommerce, social media, email campaigns), optimizing for resolution, file size, and platform specifications.
- Develop engaging, brand-aligned PowerPoint presentations and visual decks for internal and external use.
- Play critical roles in new initiatives with client eCommerce stores.
- Optimize website and product content for SEO; conduct keyword research and apply best practices.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies (e.g., for image enhancement, content creation, or automation) to improve workflows, content production, and digital asset management.
- Ensure consistent application of metadata, alt text, and structured data to improve product discoverability and search rankings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in eCommerce using any eCommerce system in the market such as BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, etc.
- At least 1 year of experience in creating marketing design, digital media, company digital assets, etc., using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with product and garment photography, image cropping/editing for web and mobile display, and photo retouching techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate portfolio of digital and/or presentation design work is considered a strong asset.
- Strong experience using PowerPoint and creating design templates for PowerPoint for effective storytelling.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with eCommerce CMS, understanding HTML, ticketing systems is an asset.
- Basic knowledge or experience with AI tools related to design, content creation, or productivity (e.g., Photoshop AI features, ChatGPT, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in an environment with competing priority needs, giving attention to detail (process, data, visual accuracy), and team-oriented culture.
