About the role
Help people create homes they love. Join the Urban Barn team as a Full-time Assistant Store Manager at our DIX30 store in Brossard, QC. With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We’re passionate about making our customers and our employees feel right at home. Here, you will enrich the customer experience while growing your experience with a well-known Canadian retailer.
Participate in the management of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will collaborate with the Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:
- Guide customers in their decor choices
- Ensure the achievement of sales objectives
- Communicate your expectations to the team and provide training, coaching, and feedback
- Manage store merchandising, inventory, and shrink
- Lead and maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
What you Bring:
- At least 2 years of Retail Sales Management experience
- Experience with achieving sales targets
- A passion for interior décor and merchandising
- Proven ability to coach and develop a team of top performers
- Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
- The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
